Broadway Kids of San Diego announces the 2006 Summer SeasonTwo Shows this SummerPress Release Contact Alice Cash 858-792-6917 Broadway Kids of San Diego announces 2006 summer season with two great shows. The first, “Honk Jr.”, will be presented at our previous venue, the Scripps Miramar Ranch Library, July 30 and 31 and will be performed at Scripps Miramar Branch Library. Honk Jr. is an award winning musical about the ugly duckling and will be directed by founding teen director Alice Cash. Guest director Josh Herren joins Broadway Kids of San Diego to direct the teen only production of “The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged)”, August 7 and 8 at 6th @ Penn Theatre. Josh is currently a Freshman at Francis Parker has performed in numerous productions around San Diego. He is excited to be joining Broadway Kids of San Diego and can’t recall a time when he didn’t want to be involved in theatrical arts.Auditions for both shows will be held April 29, 4:00 to 6:00pm and April 30, 9-12pm at 3970 Sorrento Valley Blvd. Suite B. Actors ages 8-18 may audition please prepare a one minute song with tape or CD for HONK Jr. and a 2 minute or less comedic monologue for The Complete Works of Shakespeare (Abridged).
